AFTER CARE

FOLLOWING YOUR WINDOW TINT INSTALLATION

ROLLING DOWN WINDOWS:

It's vital to keep your windows up for 48 hours after the tint is installed. DO NOT ROLL DOWN YOUR WINDOWS within this 48 hour time frame

DRYING OF THE FILM:

The first few days after you get your windows tinted they may appear hazy. You may see little water pockets, resembling dimples on a golf ball, forming between the film and the glass. This is completely normal in the drying process. As the film dries, the remaining water will form little pockets. These are normal and will simply evaporate & go away on their own. If possible, park the vehicle in the sun. This aids to speed up and solidify the drying process.

CLEANING WINDOWS:

After your windows are tinted you can clean the outside of your windows immediately if desiredWe do ,however, fully wipe down the inside & outside of your windows after they are tinted, before you leave. It is recommended to wait a few days to a week before cleaning the inside of the windows. Never use ammonia cleaners! Use a soft paper towel and a non-ammonia cleaner. Soap water works great but there are also products on the market that are sold specifically "safe for tinted windows".

DOT MATRIX:

Most newer vehicles have a black ceramic dotted edge around the glass. These dots are 3 dimensional and lifted off the glass. You can simply feel them by running your finger along them. The film doesn't stick to them well and the dots hold the film away from the glass causing a whitish looking appearance. After the film has had proper time to dry, you can take your finger and run it along these dotted areas to fully push the excess air out to improve the appearance if needed. Usually just parking your vehicle in the sun, encourages and solidifies the drying process.
